With good performance with the bat against the UAE, Afif Hossain jumped 11 places in the batter’s ranking to 40. However, Liton Das, Mahmudullah and Shakib lost points and dropped down to 42, 56 and 75 respectively.
Meanwhile, off-spinner Mahedi Hasan, who was dropped from the Tigers’ World Cup squad, is the highest-ranked bowler (15) for Bangladesh despite going down a single place.
However, Shakib, Nasum Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman trickled down to two positions each (20, 27 and 34 respectively).
